HP ZBook 15 G9 Laptop – Mobile Workstation with Matte 4K Display
HP offers a
series of mobile phones, starting with the small zbook Firefly device, and the
ZBook Studio, the high-end version of the ZBook Fury and ZBook power, which
should represent a good combination of price and performance. . . Although the
case is not very important, it also has a sufficient number of ports. We are
testing the ZBook Power 15 G9 6B8C4EA model for about 2,800 euros (~$2,981),
which is well equipped with a Core i7-12700H, RTX A2000, 32 GB of RAM, 1 TB SSD
and a matte 4K screen. . . Compared to its predecessor ZBook Power 15 G8 (here
in our review), there are no changes in the case and input devices, so we will
make these parts short here, focusing rather than in the performance section.
Issues and resources
The aluminum
body remains unchanged from the previous G8 model. Although the quality is good
overall, the stability does not reach the quality of more expensive office
models such as ZBook Studio or ZBook Fury. In addition, the screen oscillates
slightly to change the angle of the lens. Visually, the ZBook Power 15 G9 looks
unassuming and unassuming in its dark gray color. The bottom of the case is
just a screw and can be easily removed. In addition to the working memory, you
can also get two M.2 SSD slots, and the WLAN module is sold. In terms of
connectivity hardware, we still see some USB-A and USB-C ports with Thunderbolt
4, Ethernet and HDMI ports. However, there is no card reader. The WLAN module
has been upgraded with Intel's AX211 card also supporting the Wi-Fi 6E
standard. We managed to connect to the 6 GHz network through our Asus router
without any problems. Our transfer rate is very high and stable. An LTE/5G
module is not available for the ZBook Power. Like the webcam, there is always a
720p sensor including an IR camera for facial recognition. The webcam does its
job, but the image quality is poor even in good lighting conditions.
